01 · WASTEWATER / DRAINAGE SUBMERSIBLE PUMP
HDP Series
Submersible wastewater and drainage pumps with a non-clogging vortex impeller. The model is confirmed against flow, head, liquid characteristics, solids size, sump depth and operating conditions.

02 · TYPE AND SERIES POSITION
A submersible pump family for drainage duties with soft solids
HDP is selected against the duty point, wastewater, solids, sump depth and discharge arrangement. The product image identifies the family and does not assign an unconfirmed exact model.

Wastewater and drainage submersible pump
The non-clogging vortex impeller provides a flow passage for wastewater containing soft solids within the selected model’s limit.
- Submerged operation in a sump or collection area
- Selected against flow and total head
- Solids and sump conditions reviewed

Seven models in the technical source
HDP-05, HDP-10, HDP-20, HDP-30, HDP-50, HDP-75 and HDP-100 retain separate model-table data.
- No one specification is applied to every model
- Curves are issued by selected model
- Materials retain component-level scope
03 · EQUIPMENT APPLICATIONS
Application contexts requiring actual operating data
These are equipment application contexts. They do not state that McKarlen designs or executes the complete system.
Industrial Drainage
Review the wastewater source, solids, temperature and operating schedule.
Sumps and Collection Areas
Select against inflow, water levels, total head and useful sump volume.
Construction-site Dewatering
Use as drainage equipment where the liquid and solids suit the selected model.
Water Intake and Transfer
Confirm liquid conditions, intake screen, discharge route and submergence depth.
Replacement Duties
Compare the duty point, connection, electrical supply and installation conditions.
04 · KEY TECHNICAL DATA
Technical data is controlled by model and curve
The old catalogue’s aggregate flow, head, power and connection summaries do not align with its model table. The preview therefore does not present one common whole-series range.
HDP Series — stable technical field order
Model relationships retained
Model order: HDP-05, 10, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100.
Rated current: Confirm by model.
05 · PERFORMANCE AND DUTY
Flow and head must be reviewed on the selected model curve
HDP cannot be selected from pipe diameter or static lift alone. Curve revision, frequency and wastewater conditions must be reviewed together.
Duty point + wastewater + solids
Total head includes static lift and pipe losses at the design flow. Model selection also reviews operating mode and sump conditions.
06 · MATERIALS AND CONFIGURATION
9. Materials — confirm by component and selected model
A material assigned to one component is not presented as a material grade for the complete pump.

Component-controlled material table
The source table is presented in the materials section. Values are read by component and confirmed against the selected model.
- No material is assigned to the complete pump
- No transfer to another family or model
- Confirm against the model record before supply

07 · INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
10. Installation conditions — prepare for submerged operation and pump removal
McKarlen provides equipment-related guidance. Sump and system design and site execution remain with the responsible project parties.
08 · TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
HDP documents are issued by model and purpose
The 2020 catalogue is used as an internal technical source but is not approved for public download because it contains obsolete corporate identity.
Controlled Document
The PDF carrying superseded corporate identity is not linked directly.
Request by Model
Provide a model or duty point to receive the correct document.
10 · SPARE PARTS, WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES
Support based on model, equipment information and operating conditions
Provide equipment photos, nameplate information, delivery records, wastewater data and observed condition for review.
Model-specific Spare Parts
Identify parts from the model, configuration, equipment details and photos of the required component.
Warranty Intake
Review delivery records, operating conditions and actual inspection findings.
After-sales Technical Support
Equipment-related guidance, operating-data review and product-document support.
11 · MODEL SELECTION
Submit wastewater data and the duty point for HDP selection
The technical team will review the inputs, identify missing information and discuss the model, configuration and required documents.
