01 · INLINE PUMP FAMILIES
CI / VI Series
Horizontal and vertical inline centrifugal pumps for HVAC and chilled-water circulation, cooling-water service, building services and industrial pipework. The model and configuration are confirmed against the required flow, head, liquid and operating conditions.

02 · TYPE AND SERIES POSITION
Two inline arrangements selected for the system and available space
CI and VI can support circulation and water-transfer duties, but they do not share every technical range. Final selection is confirmed by model.

Horizontal inline pump
For layouts that require the motor and pump assembly in a horizontal orientation with inline suction and discharge connections.
- Verified CI quick range
- Duty-point review
- Suction and pipe-support review

Vertical inline pump
For layouts where a compact floor footprint and vertical pump arrangement are preferred within the pipe run.
- Technical data confirmed by model
- Duty-point review
- Pipe-load and vertical-clearance review
03 · EQUIPMENT APPLICATIONS
Inline pump applications within engineering systems
These are equipment application contexts. They do not mean that every CI or VI model is suitable for every system.
HVAC & Chilled Water
Review flow, head, temperature and operating schedule for pump selection.
Cooling-water Service
Confirm the liquid, temperature, required materials and duty point.
Building Services
Inline pumps for suitable technical-water circulation and transfer duties.
Industrial Pipework
Review installation conditions, connection, operation and maintenance access.
Factory Utility Water
Confirm actual operating requirements before finalizing the model and configuration.
Replacement & Retrofit
Compare the duty point, installation dimensions and electrical supply of the existing pump.
04 · KEY TECHNICAL DATA
Verified CI quick range; VI confirmed by model
The CI values below must not be applied to VI. Flow and head for both families are confirmed by model and duty point.
CI Series — verified quick range
Confirm by model
CI ranges are not transferred to VI. The technical team confirms the VI configuration from the submitted selection data.
05 · PERFORMANCE AND DUTY RANGE
Pump selection cannot be based on pipe size alone
The appropriate model is reviewed against the duty point and operating conditions, not one isolated value.
Flow + head
Both values must be reviewed together on the selected model’s curve. Suction conditions, liquid and operating schedule can affect the required configuration.
06 · MATERIALS AND CONFIGURATION
Confirmed against the liquid and operating conditions
No single material configuration or temperature limit is published for the entire CI / VI range.
Type and temperature
Provide the liquid composition, normal temperature and any abnormal operating condition.
Wetted components
Materials are confirmed by model, liquid and required configuration.
Seal and motor
Review operating conditions, electrical supply and control requirements before confirmation.
07 · INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
Prepare the conditions required for the pump to operate at its duty point
McKarlen provides equipment-related guidance. System design and site installation remain with the responsible project parties.
08 · TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
Public documents and model-specific requests
General catalogues are available directly. Curves, drawings and model datasheets are supplied after the model or duty point is confirmed.
Public Download
Approved general documents for public access.
Request by Model
Provide a model or duty point to receive the correct document.
10 · SPARE PARTS, WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES
Support based on the model, serial information and operating conditions
Provide equipment photos, nameplate information, delivery records and operating details for technical review.
Model-specific spare parts
Identify parts from the model, serial information, configuration and photos of the required component.
Warranty requests
Review delivery records, operating conditions and actual inspection findings.
After-sales technical support
Equipment-related guidance, operating-data review and product-document support.
11 · MODEL SELECTION
Submit the duty point to confirm the appropriate CI or VI model
The technical team will review the data, identify missing inputs and discuss the required model, configuration and documents.
