01 · SUBMERSIBLE VORTEX SEWAGE PUMP
GV Series
McKarlen GV submersible vortex sewage pumps support suitable wastewater and drainage duties containing solids. The model is confirmed against flow, head, solid size, electrical supply, liquid data and installation conditions.

02 · TYPE AND SERIES POSITION
GV submersible vortex sewage pump family
GV uses a vortex impeller and wide flow path for suitable solids-bearing wastewater. Each model must be reviewed against the duty point, solid size and configuration.

Submersible vortex sewage pump
The GV model table identifies ten models with separate power, discharge, solid passage, flow, head, dimensions and weight data.
- Select by flow and head
- Confirm the solids and liquid
- Check electrical configuration by model
GV construction by model
Confirm the motor, oil chamber, mechanical seal, vortex impeller, casing, discharge and sealing components for the selected model. Check each component’s material and configuration separately before selecting equipment.
03 · EQUIPMENT APPLICATIONS
Wastewater and drainage contexts suitable for GV review
These are equipment application contexts. They do not guarantee that every GV model is suitable for every liquid or project.
Building basements
Wastewater and drainage duties after reviewing the duty point, solids and submergence depth.
Hotels and buildings
Review the liquid, solids, operating schedule and sump conditions before model selection.
Factories
Wastewater drainage where the liquid composition and component materials have been confirmed.
Industrial-process areas
Check solids, corrosion risk, flow and head against the actual operating conditions.
Septic tanks and cesspits
Confirm solid passage, water level, controls and equipment lifting arrangement.
Sewage pump stations
Select equipment by duty point; station design, piping and electrical work remain with the responsible project parties.
04 · KEY TECHNICAL DATA
GV technical data by model scope
The ranges below summarize the ten listed GV models. They are not automatic selection points and do not replace the exact model curve.
GV Series – model-specific data
Models covered by the technical data
- 32GV-150 · 40GV-250
- 50GV-400 · 80GV-750
- 80GV-1500 · 50GV-0.75G
- 80GV-1.5G · 80GV-2.2G

Motor protection: IP68 — confirm by model.
Confirm current supply, suffix and electrical configuration when selecting a model.
One configuration does not apply to the complete family
05 · PERFORMANCE AND DUTY RANGE
The 50 Hz curve must be confirmed for the exact GV model
Do not select GV from one maximum table value or use the curve of another model.
Flow + head + solids
The duty point must be checked on the exact model curve together with the liquid, solids, electrical supply and operating schedule.
50GV-0.75G to 100GV-5.5G

Check the curve against the required flow, head and electrical configuration before confirming a selection.
32GV / 40GV / 50GV / 80GV
Request the exact model and frequency curve. Do not select from the family name, discharge size or one maximum value.
06 · MATERIALS AND CONFIGURATION
Materials confirmed by component, suffix and model
Confirm impeller, casing, motor-housing and seal materials separately for the selected model and ordered configuration.
Impeller / Casing
FC200 / FC200
Confirm by model and configuration.
Motor housing
SUS304 for the applicable configuration
Confirm suffix and component scope by model.
Shaft / Mechanical seal
SUS410 / seal configuration to be confirmed
One seal arrangement is not applied to the complete family.
07 · INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
Installation and operating conditions by GV model
McKarlen provides equipment-related guidance. System design and site execution remain with the responsible project parties.
08 · TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS
GV technical documents by model and available revision
Technical documents are provided by model and available revision. Send the model, duty point and intended use to request the appropriate document.
Selection documents
Issued after confirming the model and duty point.
Configuration documents
Confirm the revision before use.
10 · SPARE PARTS, WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES
Support based on the model, equipment identity and operating conditions
Provide pump photos, nameplate details, delivery records, duty point and actual operating condition for review.
Model-based spare parts
Identify parts from the model, configuration, serial details and photos of the required component.
Warranty request
Review delivery records, operating data, liquid conditions and inspection evidence.
After-sales technical support
Equipment-related guidance, data review and product-document support.
11 · MODEL SELECTION
Submit the duty point and wastewater data to select GV
The technical team will review the data, identify missing inputs and discuss the required model, configuration and documents.
